Iveco EuroCargo op CNG
Garage Claeskens heeft een Iveco EuroCargo op CNG geleverd aan de firma Vranckx uit Scherpenheuvel.
Als “groen bedrijf” kan je uiteraard rekenen op de innovaties van Iveco, rijden op CNG is dan ook milieubewust en zuinig.

Iveco Eurocargo Natural Power
IVECO is sinds 1995 marktleider met een totaal van 13.000 verkochte voertuigen in Europa en is daarmee de enige fabrikant die een volledige lijn CNG-voertuigen biedt door vracht- en passagiersvervoer. Lichte, medium en zware voertuigen met minimale impact op het milieu die nu het nieuwe ijkpunt in duurzaamheid vertegenwoordigen.
CNG is de milieuvriendelijkste brandstof die commercieel beschikbaar is: het enige echte alternatief voor dieselbrandstof, met 3500 CNG-distributiepunten in Europa. De emissies van IVECO CNG-motoren bevatten minder NOx, totaal geen loodhoudende bestanddelen en aromatische koolwaterstoffen en 95% minder fijnstof vergeleken met dieselmotoren.
Doordat CNG in Europa iets goedkoper is dan diesel, zijn besparingen mogelijk tot 25%. De Eurocargo Natural Power is beschikbaar in versies van 11 tot 16 t, met een zescilindermotor met een hoger koppel van 750 Nm en een hoger vermogen van 204 pk, gekoppeld met een handgeschakelde 9-versnellingsbak of een automatische versnellingsbak met koppelomvormer. De kenmerken van het voertuig en de transportcapaciteit zijn hetzelfde als bij de dieseluitvoeringen: de cilinders zijn naast de langsliggers gemonteerd, zodat ze geen laadruimte innemen.
De Eurocargo Natural Power voelt zich bijzonder thuis de grote stad. Door zijn lage emissiewaarden wordt hij toegelaten in milieu zones en de stille werking (5 dB stiller dan diesel) maken hem perfect geschikt voor nachtwerk.
