Toonaangevende laadruimte en toegankelijkheid
De nieuwe Transit Custom biedt een indrukwekkende laadruimte in alle drie de dimensies: laadlengte, breedte (van wielkast tot wielkast) en bruikbare interieurhoogte. Dit zorgt ervoor dat u eenvoudig standaard platen van 2,5 x 1,2 meter op hun zijde of plat op de vloer, drie europalletten en , dankzij de unieke opbergruimte voor lange ladingen, voorwerpen tot 3m lang kunt vervoeren. De bestelwagen biedt over het algemeen 6 kubieke meter aan laadruimte met een standaard tussenschot – en dit is slechts voor de versie met korte wielbasis (L1). De versie met lange wielbasis (L2) biedt 6,8 kubieke meter. Een brede zijlaaddeuropening, geoptimaliseerde openingshoogte en een lage opstap aan de achterkant zorgen voor een moeiteloze toegang tot de laadruimte. De schuifdeuren beschikken ook over een controlemechanisme dat ze veilig open houdt tijdens het laden.
